Feature

Application
The acid and alkali resistant self-priming pump is suitable for pumping, recycling and discharging of all chemical liquids and sewages containing acid and alkali corrosive components, and is widely used in electroplating, electronics, chemical, leather, dyeing and finishing wastewater, waste gas and other industries. The KB series is dexterous and easy to disassemble. It is the most widely used acid-base self-priming pump.

Installa

1. When installing the pump, choose a solid horizontal floor and keep it steady. The pump inlet and outlet are installed for maintenance.

2. Try to avoid installing the machine outdoors. Cover the protective cover if it must be installed outdoors. If the pump is equipped with an electronic controller, it must be protected.

3. The pump of PVC material should avoid direct exposure to the eye to prevent the material from becoming brittle.

4. Before piping, consider the chemical liquid, temperature conditions and conveying head to be used. Select different pipe fitting materials to meet the actual requirements. For example, if the temperature is above 60 °C, PP pipe fittings should be installed.

5. When piping, be careful not to leave any impurities or debris in the pipe. If necessary, clean the pipe with clean water.

6. Flange joints should be lined with gaskets and secured to prevent air from being drawn into the pump.

7. When using metal materials for piping, install shock-proof joints on the pump inlet and outlet pipes to avoid breakage of the inlet and outlet flanges.

8. When the pump delivers liquid above a certain height, a check valve must be installed at the outlet to prevent the pump from being damaged due to back pressure.

9. The safety drain valve should be installed between the pump outlet and the first on-off valve, and install a pressure gauge as much as possible to monitor the pressure inside the pipe.

10. To prevent the pump from inhaling debris or siphoning, please install the bottom valve (Ford instead).

11. The check valve should be installed near the pump inlet and outlet as much as possible. When installing the pressure gauge or safety drain valve, try to use the T-type joint.

12. When piping, pay attention to the distortion of the pipeline's unusable force. After installation, check whether the pump is distorted due to excessive force or incorrect installation action during installation.

13. After the machine is fixed, confirm that it is secure and rotate the motor fan to confirm that the motor is free to rotate.

14. Before connecting the power cord, make sure that the power supply used is in conformity with the motor form and connect the overcurrent protection switch.

15. For hazardous chemical liquids, the pump should be covered with a protective cover just in case.

16. Before starting the pump motor, it must be filled with liquid, check whether the inlet and outlet are open, and do not idle.

17. After the installation is completed, confirm that the pipeline is secure and avoid deformation or vibration damage caused by the liquid temperature.


Instruction

1. Please confirm the selected specifications before operation, and whether it is suitable for the chemical used. Please pay attention to the chemical solution, concentration, temperature, specific gravity, impurities, flow rate, lift, voltage), and check the description of the chemical resistance list.

2. Check if the pump is filled with liquid.

3. Check that the motor wiring is correct and turn on the power to rotate it clockwise. If it is wrong, change the wiring sequence to make it run correctly.

4. Check whether the pump inlet and outlet flanges are locked, and the piping is correct, and the fixing is firm, especially at the entrance. Whether there is air inhalation, the air inhalation will affect the pump self-priming ability or cause idling damage.

5. After the motor is in the right direction, see if the pump water is normal. 6. If all of the above are completed, please check the pipeline and pump for leaks.


Notes

1. When using the pump, do not arbitrarily change the chemical nature of the transport. Different chemical reactions will produce various chemical changes, and even the chemical reaction will generate high heat and damage the pump body. Please consult a professional for questions regarding chemical coordination.

2. There are many chemical properties that will cause great harm to the human body. Personnel should try to avoid dangerous areas.

3. Check the correct position of the pipeline and valve before starting the power supply, then start the power supply and check if the liquid is normal at any time.

4. The transportation of dangerous liquids, under the incorrect operating conditions, for example, the inlet and outlet valves are not opened, the pump material selection is incorrect, the operation is empty, and the material of the pipeline does not match, which will cause great danger. Especially in the idling operation, the liquid in the pump will generate high temperature and gasification. Some of the chemicals contain hydrogen, which will cause gas explosion or hydrogen explosion. The operation should pay special attention to safety.

5. When using in a special environment, if you need a safety explosion-proof or pressure-proof explosion-proof motor, please consult with our technical staff.

6. When using in a chemical gas-containing environment, it is necessary to select a motor specially treated with an anti-corrosive paint.

7. Any misuse such as overpressure, self-changing parts, chemical mismatch, or use of damaged parts may result in a hazardous situation, please observe the safety warning.

8. The temperature resistance of each type of material is as follows: CFRPP, FRPP-85°C or less CPVC-70°C or less PVDF-90°C or less

9. Before you study the problem, you should be familiar with the operation of the machine. Please read the installation of each component in the manual, and have sufficient instructions to confirm and install it to understand the standard operating procedures of each component.

10. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses when the pump is transporting hazardous liquids or in a hazardous environment.


Maintenance

1. Before maintenance and repair, ensure that the connected power is turned off, drain the liquid remaining in the pump body, and close the inlet and outlet. Maintenance personnel should wear protective clothing and protective masks, safety footwear.

2. Regularly check the entrance and exit to prevent the foreign object from clogging and causing the motor to idling.

3. The motor is engaged with the pump and must be corrected accurately so that the motor and the pump are in the same line.

4. The shaft seal guard is fixed to the rear cover. When the rear cover is locked on the foot, it must be in the center of the shaft.

5. The impeller fixing screw locks the impeller clockwise. There must be a gap between the impeller and the middle cover of about 1-1.5mm. If the gap is too small, the impeller will wear.

6. When the rear cover is locked with the main body, pay attention to the position of the O-ring of the main body, and do not crush the O-ring.

7. The entrance should be equipped with Ford to prevent the liquid from flowing back during the shutdown and affect the self-priming ability.
